Being able to rank a high quality video in a matter of minutes means that you could potentially start making sales THIS EVENING if you implemented this product RIGHT NOW!
This is going to be a very long section of the course – so please be sure to come back here from time to time as we will also be making additions to latest results from ranking videos.

Optimizing And Ranking Your Videos
Before You Even Upload The Video
Before you even upload your video to YouTube, be sure to rename the file to match the keywords that you are trying to rank for. For example, if you were trying to rank for “accountants in Denver” we would simply rename the .mp4 file to accountantindenver.mp4 before we even uploaded it to YouTube.
This is much like renaming photograph files or graphics files before uploading them onto our webpage. It is very important that you do it – don’t skip this step.
The Youtube Channel
The first thing we need to do is realize that our YouTube channel is as powerful, if not more powerful than any of your other online assets (like your blog, or Squidoo lens etc.). YouTube channels carry with them massive amounts of pull in the search engines.
It is also important to realize that you can and need to optimize your channel.
The first thing that you want to do is to make sure that the YouTube channel and account that you create has your keywords in it. This means that you have to create a new Google account. You can have Google accounts created and phone verified for you on fiverr. Just make sure that they put your keyword as the account name.
The alternative that you could use would be this gig:
Within the channel itself you have opportunities to place keywords that you may not have realized.
The best channels have well optimized videos AS WELL AS well optimized channels. While your at it – this is also a great time to add your website for extra juice. It is just as easy as:
The Video Itself
Title
A few years back, there was something called title stacking within search engine optimization. Essentially, title stacking is when you put the key word in the title more than once. Google quickly wised up to that tactic but seems to be ignoring it in YouTube.
Fortunately/unfortunately title stacking still works for videos. So if we wanted to rapidly optimize a video for “how to become a professional writer” our title could potentially look like this:
“How To Become A Professional Writer | New Tips On Professional Writing”
And we would in fact have the optimization edge over those who did not title stack.
The problem with this method should be obvious.
That title isn’t very attractive. People won’t click through. You might be ranking like a beast, but nobody will give a darn.
Tags
It used to be that you could simply go to youtube, search for your keyword and steal all of your competitors tags and add them to your own. We can’t do that anymore – which is probably a good thing – but Youtube STILL takes into account your tags when they decide who ranks.
Here is how I do it now:
Now, what we have to do is paste all of those tags into your YouTube video and your are already beating your competition. Just be sure to double check all of the tags to make sure that they are all relevant. Get rid of the obviously not related tags.
Description Box
I am going to let you in on a little secret – I only learned this after I spent a TON of money be hiring article writers to write 500+ word descriptions for my description box. Talk about a waste.
It turns out that Youtube doesn’t have duplicate content penalties.
In other words – you can literally copy and paste content into your description box and have 500 words of content in there for free.
But why put that much content in the description box?
Because Google is still Google and it STILL uses text to rank things. 500 words will typically outrank 200 words.
Here is what I do to grab content legally, and to have it well optimized for ranking:
Offpage
The off page work that you can do with these videos is really simple. Basically, all you really want to do is have them socially bookmarked because I’m going to show you a secret way to access hundreds of people that will interact with your YouTube video and send Google hundreds of loud signals that your video rocks and that you deserve to be ranked high.
Here are some of my favorite social bookmarking and video submission gigs on fiverr that do really well:

My Secret Sauce
I have read just about every single video marketing guide that has been released on the warrior forum and not everything works. Most of the stuff that gets sold is pretty good, but some of it seems to be conjecture and not actual tested stuff.
I kept hearing people say that if you buy a gig or two worth of bot views for YouTube you can get your YouTube video ranked really high really fast. I don’t know if I was just not purchasing from the right supplier or what, but it never seemed to work for me.
So I had to come up with my own method. The method that I came up with is to use this little website:
This website is so awesome because you can get real people, not bots, to do things for you that Google finds very attractive in its search ranking algorithm.
How I use this site for my YouTube videos can be described as the following:
First, upload all my videos to my YouTube channel and submit them all to the different fiverr gigs listed above. Once all those gigs have completed, I will create a listing on micro workers paying $.15 for every person to like my YouTube video.
I make sure to restrict those eligible for the job to the United States simply because I want a steady flow of local IP addresses hitting my video and interacting with it. If you aren’t trying to rank for local keywords however, I don’t see any reason why you should pay the premium – indian IPs and those from the Philippines work just as well.
Once I have that going, I will set up another gig for people to share the video on their Facebook wall and pay them something like $.15-$.20 per share. This really helps I have found because it is real people sharing real videos and often times these videos are re-shared or at least viewed by a bunch more people and this sends signals to Google.
Next, I will pay people $.20 per comment to comment on the YouTube video. In this job posting I will display a list of primary and secondary keywords that they will have to select one key word from and use that keyword in their comment in the comment section of the video. This helps to further keyword stuff the video, except this time is user generated content which Google absolutely loves.
Lastly, I will spend $.12 per person to tweet my video to their twitter account.
The reason this all works because it is real people interacting with the YouTube video not bots.
Is it the cheapest way to go? Probably not, but it works for me and when people show up to the site who are actually searching for it, they see all these comments, they see that it’s been shared several times and they see that it already has a ton of views.
