The Power Of Earning Passive Income Whilst Landing Clients And Growing Your Business

Here is an email that I sent out a few days ago to my email list:

“Hello,

I wanted to send you an update on some testing that I have been doing that you might find very exciting (especially if you are looking to automate your client prospecting methods).

Honestly, I am a bit hesitant to share this with you because I know some of you reading this are going to be WAY better at it than I am and that means competition.

Competition is only a good thing though, right? Makes us all better.

What I Did

Within a 72 hour timeframe (from start to finish) I was able to set up a client getting “property”, have it getting a ton of traffic AND bring in big ticket sales AS WELL AS bringing in over 60 $2 commissions (for a total of $120) since I started the process.

In other words, I found a way to not only get clients faster, more easily and more effectively, but I also figured out how to make money while I did it and raise my overall profile.

How I Did It

I have been reading Dan Kennedy’s Trust Based Marketing book – in an effort to revamp my biz – and there was one chapter that really stuck out to me, one that I realized was completely missing from my business.

Publishing.

Sure, I had WSOs, and free PDFs etc, etc, etc. but I wouldn’t call that stuff “author” type work. I wouldn’t have called myself a “best selling author” for sure.

But now I can.

I published my first book on Kindle less than 10 days ago. Within 24 hours it made the best sellers list in the business section and I have already been contacted by 3 people to do high level coaching (over $5k) – and I didn’t even mention that I offered that coaching in the book – I just had my email in there.

Why I Love This Method

I am going to be hitting Kindle hard – I already have 3 more books in process ready to get going.

It has only been 9 days since I published my last one and I have already had 3 solid contacts and made $120 – but the real beauty is that I know that I will make AT LEAST another $120 next month (probably much more – already on track for $300/month in sales and I have a few more tricks from the training I learned) and get another few emails from prospects and new buyers of my book.

How do I know this?

First off, the training I purchased that has turned me from Joe Schmoe to best selling author (You Can See It Here) is training that I (and a lot of big time marketers) really believe in. Kindle isn’t about quick cash (though you GET quick cash – as I have done), it is about real publishing.

Kindling showed me how to get my book finished in about 4 hours, get it all hooked up with Kindle, but most importantly it showed me how to get people to buy it. You can find the book that I created here:

The book is less than perfect, and it doesn’t have to be. I am currently making about 5 sales per day ($10/day), which isn’t bad at all for only spending about 4 hours on the project as a whole.

But the best part – the part that I am most proud of, most excited about etc. is that I can now splash AUTHOR and more importantly, BEST SELLING AUTHOR all over everything that I do.

The clientele on Kindle (aka Amazon) so far, seem to be of a much higher caliber than those I have found on craigslist or other common prospecting places. I am assuming it is because these people are readers – and readers are leaders.

When I told them the cost of the services they were interested in, they didn’t even bat an eye.

If you haven’t published anything yet – get out there and do it! Don’t wait!

If you want to reach best seller status like I did – I can’t recommend Kindling enough. I have purchased too many Kindle courses to even keep track of (easily spent over $500 in different courses) and this is BY FAR the best Kindle course out there. I have already made back my investment in the course just in the book sales alone – not to mention the 3 client contracts.

By the end of this week you could be an author. You may even be a best selling author – if nothing else you will have clients contacting YOU.

Just looking at the Kindle market, there are huge openings for books on rep management, SEO, SMS, lead generation, etc. Prospective clients are out there searching for this information – my own book sales are proof of that – someone needs to step up and give them that information.

I HIGHLY recommend that you get out there and start publishing, it has been the best move I have made so far.
