Two weeks ago I made $4.04 for every $1 spent in ads.
This week I am averaging $8.30 for every $1 spent in ads.
What changed?
I didn’t change the ad creative.
I didn’t change my target audience.
I didn’t change my price.
I didn’t change the services that I was offering.
I didn’t ad any upsells.
I simply hired an amazing customer service team.
Pre-customer service team, I processed 200 emails per week.
Post-customer service, I process 750 emails per week.
Leads were slipping through cracks before I hired them.
Now, leads are contacted within 12 hours, they receive a series of follow-ups, and each person is asked for a referral.
Repeat customers have increased by 26%.
Referalls are up almost 70%.
And the best part is… I have so much less stress now and more time to work on the part of the business that I can generate the most positive impact on:
The writing.
And that is the funny thing about business.
When you reorient your business to focus on your customers, and giving them what they want and need, the money just naturally flows after that.
What element of your business could you tweak/change to be more customer-centric?
Where could you invest money into your business for the single purpose of improving customer experience?
Do you trust enough in the power of “bringing value to the market” to take action and make those changes?
I hope you do.
To your success,
Mike
