The Freebies
These guys are so damn smart.
They have centralized their sign up for “junk-mail” so that you can sign up for all their e-newsletters in one quick sign up process. Genius.
Here is how you can swipe Rodale.
Find a magazine/publication in the niche you write for. Buy the subscription.
Say “yes” to whatever form of junkmail they want to send you.
Sit back and collect ideas from some of the greatest copywriters in the country.
Same deal goes for this one.
The cool part is, when you are signed up for these two (Rodale & Bottom Line) you get to see what competition between copywriters looks like in real time. Awesome stuff.
I don’t care what niche you are selling in… you can benefit from spending some time in here.
Now granted, not every page is going to have been written by a gangbuster-multi-millionaire copywriter, but there are some real gems in here. Specifically, when it comes to hybrid pages.
Poke your nose around these pages and you might just get some really good ideas for your next page.
This swipe is focused more on the “Web 2.0” style of emails, but you can still swipe some really great ideas for direct response/IM.
I wouldn’t be surprised if your email list started to pee itself when “fancy” emails started showing up in their inbox instead of the “GET THIS RIGHT NOW OR YOU WILL DIE!!!!” style mailing…
I built my entire copywriting business & blog on swiping successful social campaigns. (Will be releasing my own social swipe file soon.)
In the meantime, check this out to see what’s going on in the social world of copywriting.
The Biggest, Most Bad-Ass List of Awesome Marketing Lists…
Check this one out… but proceed with caution.
Take it with a grain of salt, and be sure to use your discretion.
For a lot of these lists, there are other factors playing into the success of their copy OTHER than the swipes you might lift. Brand awareness being one of them.
Still, sign up for these bad boys and you will never have to worry about coming up with another email idea on your own again…
The Paid Ones
Oh, you wanted to grab the swipe files of one of the highest paid living copywriters?
You’re welcome.
Nice little package. Cheap price. Good way to pad your swipe file with some of the newer writers.
You can find swipes from guys like:
Michael Fortin
Bob Bly
Yanik Silver
Etc.
A nice change of pace if you get tired of looking at the same G. Shwartz and Sugarman stuff over and over again.
Not even joking… this was the fastest that I have ever parted with $147.
I discovered this guy’s blog (a swipe file in and of itself >>> http://www.infomarketingblog.com/) and bought his swipe file less than 30 minutes later. Love it.
The Ultimate Online Swipe File
This really is one of the best swipe files that I have ever found.
The comments from the writers, and the variety of mailings combine to make this one of the more insightful swipe packages out there.
To be honest, every time I log into this site to do a quick search for some swipe goodness… I get a little giddy inside…
I just wish that I had thought of this. This would be an AWESOME business to run.
The Best Swipe File Of All Time
Your Own
The best swipes are the ones you intend on using. The ones that inspire you. The ones that make you WANT to buy your own product.
There are a million different ways to build your own swipes. Evernote, Google Drive, “Print & File”… whatever floats your boat.
Collect your own swipes and you will start to see a pattern and style emerging from your own copy. Eventually, you will find parts of sales letters that you really gravitate towards (I love writing fascination points).
If you keep putting it off, devote 5 minutes RIGHT now to go put some money down on one of those swipe packages. Trust me, once you pay for it, you’ll use it. And you’ll see how powerful it can be.
Learn copy my friends. Or hire me to do it.
Either way. Get off your butt and start earning money… it’s out there waiting for you.
